This ain’t nothing but #TRUTH!

This whole ACB thing is evidence of what I’ve come to realize over time. White Supremacy and white privilege breeds and encourages white mediocrity. They don’t have to be the best-of-the-best to get the best. They just have to have a better contact than the other mediocre white person vying for a particular position, and they’re in! No need to be excellent when you can be white. To exacerbate this folly, white people will applaud, cheer for, and hype up white mediocrity in an effort to justify their false claim that this mediocre white person “earned” the position and “deserves” to be there, thus maintaining the low bar for white achievement. At this point I’m not sure if they really believe these “average” white people are actually great OR are just that committed to the fake-out.

On the other hand, if you see a Black person or POC in a top position you BETTER BELIEVE they know their sh*#t and they are more qualified and capable in their field than 90% (minimum) of their mediocre white counterparts. We can’t make it to the top being “average”. We HAVE TO be the best, be EXCELLENT to make it into the heights of our fields.
